My Friday Five

I learned a lot this week! More than I could ever put into 5 items..

Last night I sat down with a pen and paper, a glass of Merlot and I started writing..
These are the first 5 things I could think of that I learned this week..

1. LACTOSE FREE ((YUMMY)) YOGURT NOW EXISTS ~ yep Lylah can finally stop crying every time she watches Gracie eating a yummy yogurt.. She can now have one. One that isn't plain unflavored yogurt!
Thank you Yoptimal!!!!

2.YOU SHOULD NEVER LEAVE A NAIL POLISH BOTTLE UNATTENDED AND NEAR CERAMIC TILE ~Blue nail polish definitely does not accent a nice neutral kitchen tile.....

3.GRACIE WANTS A NEW MOMMY~ Or in her very own words.... "I don't want you to be my mommy anymore" There were tears,,,,, lots of them!!

4. I AM A LOT NICER PERSON/MOMMY AFTER A NIGHT OUT WITH GIRLFRIENDS ~ A night out does a lot of good. This morning, I had a lot more patience with and was much nicer to my children. This is a great excuse for a weekly girls night out.

5. I AM NOT THE ONLY MOMMY WHO HAS LAUNDRY ISSUES~ I was so excited to learn that at least one other mommy often finds herself rooting through baskets of clothes looking frantically for "something" needed before leaving the house... (you know who you are! Thanks for confirming that I'm not alone!)

Have a great weekend ladies.. don't forget to check back tomorrow to see what my favourite post of the week was.. It's a good one!!

Laundry is always an issue for me, I have 3 baskets in my room that i'm trying to get put away. Every morning I'm rooting through them to find what the girls want to wear and if i can't find what they want oh my its the end of the world. I also have a nice accent colour on my bathroom floor brown looks really great with ivory colour tiles.
Have a great weekend!

Hi Sarah!
So glad you found that yogurt for your little one! Would nail polish remover ruin your tile? Did you find something to remove it? Just curious!! Have a wonderful weekend. See you again soon!

I left nail polish in the top drawer of the Oldest's dresser. She was spending some alone time in her room. Guess what I found when I went to check on her? A newly painted ottoman and bed spread. Ahhhh, the lessons we learn while parenting. :) -Becky from VB

I'm a much better mommy after a night out with daddy, too. Sorry to hear that Gracie made a new mommy comment. Perhaps she'll counter it with an I Love You?

New Follower from voiceBoks - loving your blog! I too do better in the mom department if I keep my "woman-cup" filled by spending adult time every week!

(And right there with you on the laundry!)

Love the Firday five-- I throw the kids clothes right into the washing machine (no laundry basket) this way once the washer is full I just trun iit on-- noe taking it out of the dryer to fold is another issue...

Thanks for adding me to your must read page- have a wonderful weekend.

Isn't laundry just torture! It's my least favorite chore, and it's never-ending, huh! Coming from voiceboks...

Laundry is my all time biggest pet peeve!! I don't know who makes more, the kids or my husband!!! It's just never ending..
I've tried filling the washing machine thing, but I always end up needing to do something different first, and then I have to empty it.
The nail polish came out,, a little nail polish remover worked great... It didn't come out of the grout quite as well, but it is what it is!!!
