Friday Five~ June 3

Is it just me, or was this a really long week??
I had lots going on this week.. Probably a little too much. I'm sure that I learned a great deal more than my mind is remembering. Below are some of my favourite "lessons" from this past week.

**Don't forget to follow my lead by participating in my FRIDAY FIVE!! Write a post about everything you learned this week, mention where it all began (right here) and then link up at the bottom of this post!! Simple!**

1. Cleaning vomit up in the middle of the night is even worse than during the day!
~I learned this at 1:30am this morning so felt the need to add it

Just looking at them makes me cringe!
2. Rosie's voice is almost as annoying as Caillou's.
~Both voices could make me pull my hair out. I'm  considering a Caillou ban in this house.

3. It doesn't always pay to be the bigger person. Sometimes you just have to worry about yourself.
~Enough said!

4. Sorbet is lactose free, but sherbet isn't..
~It is very hard to find sorbet in ice cream stores. Poor Lylah! Poor me! No more family ice cream trips!

5. I'm getting old.
~I officially need to start making lists and writing things down. I forget everything important!

There you have it! There really wasn't anything too exciting this week, but I tried..

Don't forget to check out the others lists by finding their link below!

I definitely agree with #1. I stopped watching Caillou before Rosie could talk, so I don't know about #2. I think #3 could probably be a post because you've got me curious. I'm sorry about #4. And I had to look back at #5 because I couldn't remember what it was! True story! Love the list.

I only had a four day work week, but it was the longest four days. I think Friday was ever going to get here.

Stopping by from Voice Boks!

Do your girls watch "Timothy Goes to School" because I have to say the characters Frank 1 and Frank 2 beat Caillou in the annoying voice category any day? And, what about Toopie and Binou....horrible! Why do the adult creators of these programs TORTURE other adults???

@Sadie....i don't think they watch that one..I honestly try to tune all of them out the best that I can.. They all drive me CRAZY!! Caillou though,, it's the whine that goes with the voice.. It's like they're teaching our kids how to be whiny brats!!

cleaning vomit at any time is just plain cruel! (moms are so lucky, aren't we?!) AGHHH! so glad to know someone else can't stand caillou and rosie's voice too! yes, note to self... worry about self first! (period!) i'm only lactose intolerant when drinking milk, i can have other dairy products no prob. it must be a challenge for you...sorry! no, you are not getting old! you are a mom, too many things on your mind and list -- we all tend to forget! I will go to the store for one item to make dinner and leave the store with more than i intended and forget the one item i went in for originally! (then poor hubby has to pick up if it's not needed right away!). happy weekend!

Thanks Steph! You've made me feel better about getting old.
Unfortunately, Lylah can't seem to eat or drink anything with milk in it.. It's tough!!
Happy weekend to you too!
