Listography ~Best Decisions I've made

This weeks Kate Takes 5 listography challenge has been inspired by the significance of the 'Save the children: No child born to die' campaign.  Check out both Kate's link, and the campaign link for more information.

Kate has chosen the topic: Top 5 Decisions that I'm glad I made.
I (once again) really struggled with this one. So many decisions have shaped my life and molded me into the person that I have become. I ended up deciding that I am going to focus on the Top 5 decisions I've made AS A MOMMY.
My choices for life (in general) would have been all of the basics,, finish school, get married, have kids, ........
So, I thought I would change things up a bit, seeing as this is a mommy blog and all. Here we go.....

without him..........?????
1.CHOOSING PETER TO MARRY~ Okay! So this is before I had kids but really, if I didn't do this, who knows where I would be right now. Marrying my husband was by far one of the best decisions I've made. Having him father my children was even smarter!

2.HAVING THE GIRLS 22 MONTHS APART ~ if you would have asked me this 6 months ago, I would have said that it was the stupidest thing I've ever done. As the girls get older, play together and become friends,  I am SO happy that I decided to have them close together. I think that it was the right choice for all of us.

3.CHOOSING TO BE A STAY AT HOME MOMMY~ for me, this is exactly where I need to be. I love that I am home with the girls and get to (somewhat lol) enjoy every minute of watching them grow and learn. I'm so lucky to be able to stay home with them every day.

4.SENDING GRACIE TO NURSERY SCHOOL~for everyone involved, this was such a great decision. Gracie has matured, grown and learned so much since September. She has lost any and all social anxiety that she had, and she is more than ready to start JK in September. While she was there, I was able to have one on one time with Lylah. Lylah and I got to have so much fun just the two of us, which never happens.

5.STARTING THIS SITE~ I was in a tough place the day that I sat down and started typing.. I was feeling lost. I didn't have a "passion". I was feeling the need to be More than a wife and mother. I didn't know know where I wanted to be in life. All of these thoughts were making me miserable.
When I started this blog, I felt almost immediate relief. I found my passion.
Maybe this isn't what I'm meant to be doing for the rest of my life, maybe it's not my life purpose. Right now, it's good enough for me. It's exactly where I'm meant to be. I have a "right now" passion, and that is getting on and writing and sharing with all of you every day.
This makes me happy. Me being happy makes me a better wife and a better mother. Reading all of the comments every day makes me realize that people are relating to me. Blogging has made me a better person. A better mommy!! Blogging was definitely one of my top decisions!

If you had to pick your number 1 decision that you've made in life or since being a mom, what would it be?? Don't be shy, tell us, we all want to hear!!

Nice take on the theme and I love your no. 5 - it's great to have something just for us isn't it?

I like the fact that you took charge and found your passion. Often as SAHM we feel we need something else to keep our minds busy.

Love the list! I too am glad that I had my boys close together in age. At first- it was so hard, but they all play well together.

Number one though is probably marrying my husband- b/c that led to everything else!

@ Kate~ Thanks! Yes, this is the ONLY thing that I have JUST to myself!

@Cam~ Thank you! You should definitely make your own!

@GutsyWriter~ Thank you! I am so happy that I pushed myself to find something that I love.. I'm afraid to think of where I might be, had I not!

@Shell~ It was tough, but so worth it! I love watching them play and hug, laugh together.. My sister and I were 5 years apart, so we didn't get to be close until we were in our 20's.. I hope my girls are always close..
What would we do without these men?!! I can't think of a few things some days!! lol

You have 5 great things on your list -- but to choose just one decision I've made in my life??? wow, that is a hard one! But i think i would pick marrying my husband. This would be at the top of that list because everything I do now is because of our joint decision - being a mom AND a stay at home mom, a business woman of my own business, and an editor for our wedding video business... none of these could have happened without my husband.
