How many times have you gotten out of the shower, only to RUN past the mirror?
How many times have you looked in that mirror and been close to tears over what you see?
Although I've gotten my pre baby body "Almost" back, there are certain,, well, uh, areas that will just never be "normal" again..
I always tend to focus on those areas. It's like they jump out at me even when I'm just passing by the mirror.
While playing around on Pinterest last night, I found one of the most awesome things I've ever found.
I like it for a few reasons which are obvious, but mainly because, once again, it shows us that we're not alone.
Other women have the stretch marks that we try so hard to cover up, other people have the cellulite and the saggy skin on the belly.
And even though I doubt it almost every day, there must be other women who's boobs look like deflated balloons... (no joke,, it's not right!)
Anyway, take a look at this.... Print it off, hang it in your closet, in your car, on your mirrors.
Hang it wherever you'll see it daily...
At first, I thought it was really just referring to stretch marks, but after reading it over and over, it's really about our whole body....
Hope you like it as much as I do.
A mark for every breath you took, every blink, every sleepy yawn. One for every time you sucked your thumb, waved hello, closed your eyes, and slept in the most perfect darkness. One for every time you had the hiccups. One for every dream you dreamed within me. It isn't very pretty anymore. Some may even think it's ugly. That's OK. It was your home. It held you until my arms could, and for that, I will always find something beautiful in it. ~ Cassie Fox
